Users can be added to our jira application by looking up their name on a "user picker" which holds all the company's staff names and email addresses.  For some reason the user's name is not appearing on the list.  Our IT administration has looked into the matter and they can't find any issues. Do I need to update something on jira?

We also have SAML SSO installed.

How are they getting the names of the users? Is it by LDAP?

Have they tried rerunning a sync?

Yes, by LDAP

Haven't re-run a sync. Can you advise how this is done please?

Hi @Michelle Greenfield 

Please ask your admin to confirm the following:

  1. Is he able to see those users in the Users page? 
  2. Check the global permissions page if the Browse Users permissions is granted to you and the appropriate users.
