A JQL Filter is blocking my roadmap

Edited

I created a filter for a kanban board to filter out Epics on it

which was project = OMAS AND issuetype !=Epic ORDER BY Rank ASC

(OMAS is the name of the project)

However this filter is blocking my roadmap. It says I need to adjust the filter to show epics.

Can anyone help pleasJIRA Roadmap error.png

Hi @Chris Brown , indeed you cannot exclude Epics and retain the roadmap capabilities. What exactly are you attempting to do by excluding the epics? If you don't want to see them on an active board, then simply don't include them in the sprint or on the board. They can remain in the backlog. Also, consider using a quick filter.
