Why can't my Filter sort by Created (or createdDate) ASC?

Here is my Filter:

Project in ("Level 1 Support (sandbox)", "Team BADD") AND Issuetype not in ("Dev Task", "Software Move Task", "Story") AND Status not in ("Resolved", "Closed", "Dev Issue Complete", "Withdrawn") AND "Global ID" is not empty ORDER BY Created ASC

and here is my Dashboard:

When I click the Created column header, the Created column sorts ascending.

Yet, I have another Dashboard for which the filter seems to work (second gadget):

Are you sure, that you use correct filter for first dashbord? Arrow in Created column shows, that you're using DESC sort. 

Try to open dashboard in Incognito mode of browser, under other user. Maybe it's cached setting, after you tried to change order?

It is the same filter.  The arrow direction puzzled me as well.  What's more, I have another dashboard that has two gadgets, and the second uses the same filter as the dashboard in question; yet the sort arrow for Created goes up.  As long as I have the second dashboard, I'm OK, but I'd still like to solve the mystery.
