Hello Confluence admins!
Since our last roundup in April, Atlassian's Marketplace Partners have added over 100 new cloud apps to the Atlassian Marketplace to help your teams work more efficiently.
Check out a few highlights below - if you interested in checking out the new cloud apps for Confluence go to this post. Let us know some of your favorite cloud apps for Confluence in the comments!
This cloud version of a popular server app allows you to build captivating courses within Confluence so you don’t need to use a standalone learning management solution. With Smart Courses, you can create (or co-create) and share courses, create quizzes with predefined or open answers, include attachments or embed code or video, complete courses at your own pace, track learners' progress, and more, all within Confluence.
Use Excel-like Tables in a Confluence page to import your Excel files into a table to share with team members. Most of the Excel features are available with this app, including tables, formulas, charts, and shapes. You can import/export an Excel file into Confluence, and the data is stored in the Confluence instance, so it’s secure. Plus, this app is currently out in beta, so it’s free!
It’s easy to copy and paste formatting in Confluence with the Format Painter tool. This app allows you to copy all formatting from one text section and apply it to another. Format copying and pasting works for color scheme, font type, size and color, decoration styles, and alignment.
Recent Edits Overview for Confluence (Free)
This app adds a small label to the top of every Confluence page on your site where you can check to see if there were any edits made since you last visited the page. Find out how long ago you visited a page and how many edits were made (and by whom) in the intervening time. Plus, easily navigate to a Confluence interface that gives an overview of recent changes.
Countdown Timer for Confluence (Free)
This cloud version of a popular free server app allows you to add a countdown timer to your Confluence pages. It’s a simple, useful free app that displays a countdown based on any given date.
Mermaid for Confluence marketplace.atlassian.com
Mermaid is a Javascript-based diagramming and charting tool that renders markdown-inspired text definitions to create and modify diagrams dynamically. With this app, you can create graphs, Gantt charts, and many other diagrams from plain text using the Mermaid JavaScript library.
Translations for Confluence is a popular server app that’s now available for Confluence Cloud. This app allows you to create and edit page content in multiple languages easily. Just use a language macro in the desired language and add your translation to it. Include as many languages as you want on a single page. In view mode, users will see the page content in their preferred language only.
Create Jira issues directly from Confluence page with a “Create Jira Issue” button for Confluence. Team members can create and manage defined issue types from pages to bring clearer structure into your collaboration workflow.
