Hey @Maggie Norby Adams, was really looking forward to this, since my app Duplicate AI came out. Unfortunately not included in neither May, nor June roundup. :/

Are there additional criteria to be listed, I'm not aware of? Could it be listed in the July roundup?

‒ Cheers, Markus

Hi @mararn1618 _secretbakery_io_ -

In general, we take into consideration all new cloud apps and try to highlight those that we think would be of interest to customers and the community. We do pay attention to things like participation in cloud security and badging programs and number of positive reviews, but really beyond having an app that is newly released since the last roundup, there is no additional specific criteria to getting selected. Unfortunately I'm not able to showcase every new app as there are too many each period.

The next roundup will be focused on a specific security and reliability topic, but I highly recommend raising visibility for Duplicate AI by engaging with the Atlassian Community in other ways, like answering community questions about organizing Jira and managing duplicates, or even posting your own article about your solution, like this one or this one. Feel free to message me directly if you have specific questions or want to discuss other ways to boost visibility for your app.

Thank you @Maggie Norby Adams for featuring Countdown Timer for Confluence Cloud.

We released 5 free Forge apps for Cloud last month. Glad that at least 1 of them made into your list 😁

Hey Maggie, thanks for shedding some light on this. I must admit that I didn't realize only a few selected apps are highlighted and not all new apps make it into the roundup 😅. Thanks also for the pointers regarding other measures to gain visibility 👍

@Maggie Norby Adams: Thanks for including our app Who is Online!

If the next roundup is focused on security, you might want to have a look at GDPR (DSGVO) and Security for Jira and Confluence, which got an exciting new Confluence Cloud feature recently: Admins can set up rules to automatically react to newly created sensitive information that should not become public, and deal with it by restricting access for example. We still have to update the marketplace listing for that. If you have any questions, feel free to get back to me. Thanks! :)

+1 Forge app to the list, our Absence Tracker

It was one of the apps created by our team for the Codegeist 2020. The idea behind it is based on our Server/DC app (Vacation Manager): it use 1 dedicated project to track absences and on the issue view screen (in all projects) it allows to checks if any of the involved in ticket users is out/not available or planning a leave.

If you are developer interested in Forge, we talked about challenges in latest Atlassian event Developer Day 2021, in session: LEAPing into Marketplace (available after registration, on-demand)
