The official thermometer is here to celebrate hitting 10,000 trees and 35% of our goal! We need to hit 50% by Saturday to stay on track 🚂 So tell your friends to make like a tree and get over here. 😉
There are also some great discussions going on in the new Work Management group that I highly recommend checking out.
We've got some Mad Libs going and I'm also going to need someone to tell me which work @ronald_bergmann 's tree photo comes from in our tree thread. A video game? A Miyazaki film? Help a sister out.
I made this a top 10 list but I have to give honorable mention to myself, at #11 with 215 trees, great job, me! 😂
If you want to recognize any of these folks with some bonus kudos for going above and beyond, great news - awarding kudos to users now also plants a tree. So go ahead and use up your kudos to reward great content and great people, and plant some trees while you're at it.
(Remember, you can visit the Kudos tab of a user's profile to easily give kudos, or search for them in your kudos panel.)
💥💥💥 - Just and by sheer accident realised that the "boom!" emoji is dutch for tree. So, in the future, you can replace 💥 with 🌳 and be saying the exact same thing ...

@Dana A fantastic! We haven't had the opportunity to plant in China, Colombia, or Mexico yet either along with the U.S. Well, looks like we'll have to find a reason to plant more trees again soon....

@Monique vdB We should have a community group called Atlassian Global Impact. Group Moderators will keep track of Atlassian Campaigns that's making global Impacts(Cleaning the Ocean, Planting trees, and more). Members will be people who participated and made a significant contribution. Then those members should be encouraged and facilitated in creative thinking for new campaign. And we can channelize those global campaigns via our Atlassian Community Events.
I attended a ACE monthly meetup here in Nepal🇳🇵 but nobody even knew about July's Plant a Tree Campaign.
If we can tune in the true potential of this huge Atlassian Community, we can reach target of 100000 trees or 100000KGs of ocean cleaning and many more.
I'm happy to join and facilitate such conversation/community/group.
That's a great idea @Sanjog Sigdel! I think our next campaign should be about water! I live in a place where water is becoming a limited resource. If we can do a campaign say with Charity:Water or The Water Project that would be great!

@Sanjog Sigdel that is a great idea, and I will follow up internally with the Atlassian Foundation and some other folks. Anyone else getting future Community Leader vibes from Sanjog? 😉
