3 integration favorites & the additional benefits for cloud (ft. InVision, Microsoft Teams, Miro)

The massive shift to the cloud over the past decade is apparent, so it’s no surprise that Forbes predicted that 83% of enterprise workloads would be in the cloud by 2020 and Forrester predicts that the public cloud market will reach $411 billion by 2022. In fact, over 90% of Atlassian’s new customers are choosing our cloud products over server or data center offerings. These customers value the combination of agility and speed to market, team productivity, and future proofing technology investments through integrations with top technology platforms.

As the Atlassian partner ecosystem grows, we have observed a similar shift in the number of partner integrations catering to our cloud products. For instance, among our most popular SaaS partner integrations - integrations with companies that are building best-in-class technology platforms - there are currently about 50% more cloud product-supported integrations than server-supported. In some cases integrations support both cloud and server, but there are added feature benefits for customers who have adopted our cloud products.

Read on as we shine a spotlight on three integrations that come with added capabilities for Atlassian cloud customers.

As one of our top installed SaaS partner apps on the Atlassian Marketplace, the InVision app for Jira is designed to improve productivity and collaboration between designers and developers. When an InVision link is added to a Jira issue, users can see the design prototypes with developer annotations and specs without leaving Jira. This enables cross-functional teams to easily pair design prototypes with Jira Software issues, reducing the the need to move between platforms.

🔔 Bonus for Cloud customers: Ability to interact with prototypes and the Jira Plugin for InVision

Jira Software Cloud users benefit from the added ability to comment back to designers and inspect an InVision prototype for build information inside of their Jira issue, making team collaboration easier and project delivery faster. Plus, the Jira Plugin for Invision, available in InVision’s Studio App Store, empowers design teams to associate their work to Jira Cloud issues and keep those issues up to date with the latest design iterations without toggling between tools.

The Microsoft Teams integration is the easy choice for Jira Software and Jira Service Desk customers who want to simplify the communication and collaboration process of their Jira backlog. Jira issues can be created, modified, and reviewed without leaving Microsoft Teams and within the context of your desired team, channel, or conversation. The compose extension, bot, and personal tab view make this integration especially valuable for high performing teams.

🔔 Bonus for Cloud customers: Link Unfurling

This feature surfaces key attributes when a Jira issue is posted within a Teams conversation. This additional context displayed directly within Teams reduces the time required for an end user to inspect the issue.

Miro is the online collaborative whiteboard platform for distributed teams that we are hearing more and more about from our customers. The Miro integration for Confluence enables teams to embed boards created in Miro (e.g. architecture diagrams, flow charts, mind maps) directly into Confluence pages. Visuals created in Miro alongside relevant content in Confluence provide teams with a full view of their projects and ideas, maximizing cross team collaboration and communication.

🔔 Bonus for Cloud customers: Full-featured board functionality

Cloud customers can share ideas faster and work more efficiently with the added ability to comment, edit, and access toolbar functionality directly within Confluence, eliminating the need to sign in to Miro first.

Would really like to get a Jira dashboard posted on a Miro board. (Nube)

Creating jira issues and confluence comments from Jira would be the ultimate feature here.
