Today we're going to briefly check out how to recreate the whole issue structure 🗺️!
With Recreate issue, you can easily clone existing issues with their children to the same or another project. All field values included in the source issues will be preserved. The feature works right after app installation, you don’t need to configure anything.
Steps
- Go to the issue you wish to recreate and in the issue view go to the Actions menu and click Recreate issue.
- Select the project you wish to recreate it in and the options you want to be applied and click Recreate.

Note
- Fields like Reporter, Comments, and Statuses won’t be copied
- Depending on the options you select, the feature can be a powerful tool that will copy or clone issue links. If your issue has a link to another, which then has a link to another, a whole project can be duplicated with this option enabled.
