We’re thrilled to announce not just one, but two powerful new features in the Queues for Jira & JSM app: Bulk Change Queues and Bulk Change Queues in Group. 

🌟 What’s new?

Let’s break down these two features and how they can make your life as a Jira user much easier.

Bulk Change Queues

Main goal: This feature reduces admins' time managing complex queue configurations across multiple groups or projects.

Here’s how it helps:

• As a Queue Administrator, you can manage the visibility of multiple queues at once, regardless of their group. This significantly speeds up configuring large queue structures.

• You can also simultaneously manage the columns for multiple queues. It ensures your team gets all the relevant information displayed consistently. And you save even more time on setup.

And here’s how you set it up: 

1. Access the Queues app

2. Select Bulk Change queues from the three dots menu 

3. After the dialog appears, choose the queues you wish to change

4. Choose the desired action (edit, delete, etc.)

5. Confirm and apply the changes.

This new feature is available for Global Admins and Queue Admins. It allows for the most efficient queue management across your entire Jira instance.

Bulk Change Queues in Group

Main goal: This feature focuses on reducing the time spent managing the visibility and column configurations for multiple queues within a single user group.

Here’s what it offers:

• As a Queue Administrator, you can manage the visibility of multiple queues at once within a specific group. This helps you define and control access for the entire group, ensuring that only the right users see the right queues.

• You can also manage the columns for multiple queues within a group, making sure the queue structure inside the group is configured quickly and consistently.

Confirming changes for the specific group in Queues for Jira & JSM 

Setting it up takes just a few steps: 

1. Edit your existing group in the Queues app. 

2. Choose the More icon next to the Pencil icon, then select Bulk change queues.

3. Select the queues within this group on which you want to perform bulk change operations.

4. Tick the checkboxes next to the desired operation(s) and define what you want to do with the selected queues.

5. Check and confirm your changes.

This feature is perfect for teams that operate within defined groups and need tailored queue management without impacting other parts of the organization.
