How to Edit an issue using a pop-up screen?

Hello, I remember I saw an "Edit" option under Pop-up menu upon right click on any issue under the Backlog as part of project board, but I can not find it anymore. Where is that? In other words how can I Edit an issue using a pop-up (or separate) window?

Problem resolved once I disabled "New Jira issue view for software projects" under Personal settings. Thanks!

Not with a right click. But by clicking the desired issue on the board, the issue's details will display in the issue detail view. And then you could go to '...' -> edit from the issue detail view to get the edit pop up.

Simpler when you have keyboard shortcuts enabled in your user profile. Just pressing 'e' when the issue is selected will get you the edit screen

Hello Fazila, thanks for replying. Pressing 'e' is not working. Note that I am using Jira on Cloud. I tried the URL you shared but it is not working in my end!
