How to delete the duplicate workflow scheme?

Deleted user November 16, 2024

I mistakenly created the Workflow duplicate scheme, but I can't delete one of the copies.

Could you help with it?

Ok it makes sense @[deleted] the simplified workflow that is active in the project is linked to the copy2 workflow scheme. You project active workflows should be linked back to copy1.

Do you know how to take care of it?

we may need to hop on a call if you are ok with it.

@Tinker Fadoua Thank you for your advice. I'll get back after a few days and will try to do it without any help, in the first place. It helps me to learn more info :)

But it could be I'll mention you here in case I cannot find the way :)

It seems it is not as obvious as it was expected in my mind :)

I truly appreciate your time ^_^

It's cool to get some support in such basic-level settings, let alone the sophisticated one

Hi @[deleted]

Please can you share a snapshot of the Workflow Scheme settings?

From the snapshot from your question, the image shows the workflow settings, and it is linked is linked to an Project.

You can reference this thread to get more info https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Jira-questions/Re-Delete-workflow-scheme/qaq-p/1440663/comment-id/436677#M436677

But long story short :-), your Workflow scheme needs to be inactive in order to be deletable.

@[deleted]  Yes there are both Inactive workflow Schemes and Inactive Workflows. When you remove some workflow schemes you may see more inactive workflows.

Best of luck!
