Unable to close Sprint even all tasks and subtasks are closed

Pradeep Gupta January 6, 2024

I am unable to close my sprint as all closed tasks are showing as open issues. I have verified that all tasks and its subtasks are already closed.

Checked the open tasks by filters and manually but can't find any open issue

Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

Jira' Scrum boards looks at whether an issue is "done" on the board, not "closed" or "resolved".

Look at the board.  Are all the issues (and their subtasks) in the "done" column (which is not necessarily called "done", it is the last column on the board)

Thank you for the warm welcome! I checked the board and all tasks for sprint 15 are complete.

No, they are not complete.

They are not in the "done" column, as I explained in the () part of my answer.

So, As per the screenshot, none of the issues have been marked as closed because it shows zero closed? Can you please let me know how to fix it? I have tried a lot but haven't found any solution.

Could you please read all of my original answer?  The second half of the last sentence in particular, the bit in ()

"I didn't understand the meaning of 'it is the last column on the board'. I assume that if the tasks are under the 'done' column on the board, it means my tasks are completed. What steps should I take to mark the sprint as done?"

The last column on a board is the last column.  Same as you read a sentence left to right, the last word in that sentence is "column", not "last".

Pradeep Gupta January 6, 2024

Please check my attached screenshot in the first replay and it seems that all tasks are under "Done" only. Let me know how to fix it

Your screenshot clearly shows a couple of issues that are not in the last column.  They are in a column named "done", but that is not the last column, so the issues are not done.

Either move the issues into the last column, or reconfigure your board so that your "done, but not done" column is the last column.
