Hello All,
I have a team that uses the status Closed with the Resolution of "Done" however, Jira is not marking these tickets with a strikethrough (when doing queries, reports, et al) which leads others to believe they are still "Open"
Closed is a "Closed" status, Done is a resolution. how do I get Jira to properly display that no further work is required for this ticket?

The strike through does not show up in a views. RE: in the list view there are no strike throughs on resolved issues. Where are you not seeing this?

In Jira boards, resolved issues have strikethrough in its key.
Well, there are lots of different reports and you can easily exclude open issues.
Or save your JQL filters by using status or resolution fields.
But one important thing is Jira considers that the lifecycle of an issue has come to an end when the "Resolution" field has a value.

Thats the thing. the resolution field IS being set please see attached screenshot:
the resolution is "Done" it should - by all rules - be registering as "closed"

It is a Kanban board. The team has opted to not display any "Closed" issues on their board.
Are the statuses not being set because the closed issues are not visible on the board?

Since I received a question for it (that seems to be deleted) will will answer it anyway. When I do searches, or run reports, none of the Closed/Done show up with a strikethrough.
I am not trying to fix this for myself, I can edit my searches. I'm trying to fix this for other users who are not as Jira savvy.

The strikethrough is there if the out of the box resolution field has any value set, so it sounds like the resolution field isn't being set. In Agile 'Done' is the far right column and the resolution is set. Look at one of the issues you believe are being displayed correctly and verify the resolution field is set.
