Hello,
I like to have 2 columns ('Ready for Prod' & 'Done') on the Jira board grouped under last column "Done" so that when sprint is closed both status tickets points are counted in the velocity, and they no longer carried to next sprint. However, I need ability to later transition "Ready for Prod" to "Done" when tickets are released to Production environment. Is this possible?
Thanks,
Ravi
A status can only belong to one column on the board, but you can have multiple statuses assigned to the same column.
Ok, thanks. How about 2nd part of the question. It seems like I cannot transition from 'Ready for Prod' to 'Done' after Sprint closure on those tickets since it was considered as Done. Is there a workaround for that?

You will not be able to do it from the board, unless you first move it to a different column and then back to the done column and select a different status. But you can do it either by going into each issue and change the status, or create a filter will all the issues that you want to move from "Ready for Prod" to Done and then use bulk transition.
