I create a Release Ticket -- as you would any other ticket -- however how do I lock that release ticket after the set due date -- meaning no more changes from anyone besides myself and my QA team

Hi @Michelle Michaels and welcome to the Community!

Not based on due date, but on workflow status. You can add workflow properties to a status as described in this support article. Possible solutions may be:

  • jira.permission.edit.group.2=some-group
  • jira.permission.edit.projectrole=10000

The best choice depends on the way you are able to identify yourself and the QA team in your Jira instance, which may be based on either user groups or project roles.

Hope this helps!
