Hi gentlemen,
We purchased 1 license for 10 users few days ago, and we will extend to buy a license for 50 users soon.
We are already using Office 365.
I need to let our users login Jira and open tickets using their Office 365 account/credentials. Is that possible? Do I need to sync between Jira and Office 365 AD? Kindly let me know ASAP.
Best regards
Hi!
Thanks for your Question.
This is nothing that Jira can do out of the Box. You need a 3rd party Plugin.
Our Marketplace App is the most commonly used one in this Scenario.
It does not only to authenticate with the O365 Accounts - but it also allows you to synchronize User Accounts / Group Memberships from AzureAD into Jira if you like.
Here is our Step-by-Step Guide on Setting Up Single Sign-On & User Sync: https://wiki.resolution.de/doc/saml-sso/latest/jira/setup-guides-for-saml-sso/azure-ad/azure-ad-with-user-sync
You can also book a free screen share session with us & we help you with the setup: https://resolution.de/go/calendly
Cheers,
Chris
P.S. Full disclosure, I work for resolution, a marketplace vendor.
Thanks a lot Chris.
I will read and apply, if I find problems I will let you know to arrange a share session.
Best regards

Hi Chris,
I started to follow the steps few minutes ago, I have the points below
1. I installed Jira Software on CentOS 6, not on Windows. Does it make any problem.
2. When I opened 'Manage apps' to look for resolution saml to install it, I didn't find it.
Waiting your feedback

Hi Nic,
I started to follow the steps few minutes ago, but as shown in the Prerequisites, they need Jira Core and Jira Software installed on Windows.
I have only Jira Software and it is installed on CentOS 6, not on Windows.
