REPEAT ITEMS NO LONGER WORK

Brent Ackors
August 28, 2024

I submitted a ticket because I could not access the repeat items in my Card Repeater power up.

Support had me uninstall the power up and reinstall it.  They assured me that I would not lose the existing data.

A week later, I still can not access my list (to edit, add or delete items).

Now...NONE OF MY PREVIOUS REPEAT ITEMS ARE SHOWING UP IN MY DAILY LISTS.

This is a critical part of the way we use Trello.

This problem has been ongoing for a couple of years...but today is the worst.  Why can't this problem be solved.?

Hi Brent,

This is a common problem, usually a conflict between your browser's cookie with the Power-Up. Could you clear your cache and cookies? This should solve the problem. Which is why the problem keeps coming.

If that doesn't work, you'd need to remove the Power-Up from your board and re-add it once more. I know you have done this procedure in the past and it can be frustrating to re-do it. I'd suggest our workaround.

The workaround would be to use Automation to create cards using a Scheduled rule. We have more information about this new functionality below:
* More Power for your scheduled Trello Card Automations!
* Scheduled repeating cards

An example of a scheduled automation could be:
Every 2 weeks on Monday, find card [card title] and copy it in list [list name]

I hope that helps! Have a good day.
