More Power for your scheduled Trello Card Automations!

We’ve added new functionality to Trello’s built-in scheduled automations! Take a look at two new features that will help you supercharge your boards with powerful, natural language automations, including adding scheduled repeating cards for your boards.

Multi-day select for scheduled commands!

Create scheduled automations to run on your schedule, now including multiple selected day(s) per week. You can now select whether to run your scheduled automation every day, every weekday, or on selected day(s) like every Monday/Wednesday/Friday!

New find and copy card action!

Our new multi-day select option can be combined with a new “find card” action to help you create scheduled repeating cards. Repeated cards are copies of an original card that reside on the same board.

These features eliminate the need to use the Card Repeater Power-Up to create repeating cards, and give you new power, as each card on your board can have multiple scheduled automations assigned as well.

Copied cards include the following details from the source card:

Card Titles, Descriptions (including inline Smart Links), Card Cover images, Due Dates, Labels, Attachments, Checklists (including list items with @mentions, assignee(s), due dates and emojis).

Note that any dates on copied cards are not changed, and the copied card will be added to a list on the same board as the source card.

Whoa this is awesome!! So much better than needing to create multiple rules. And glad to see automation getting love!
