Prevent part numbers from displaying as links?

Prevent part numbers from displaying as links?

My projects frequently reference product part numbers and the Trello tries to turn these part numbers into links (screenshot below).

When I edit the entry the text does not look like it has a link on it, but when I save it -- it's clickable again. I can't find a way to remove the link without removing the periods from the part numbers.

Anyone else have a solution?

All links seem to get reprocessed on save. Emails, domains, URLs, everything. Annoying that the unlink function doesn't prevent this in any way.

Hmmm that’s strange. Perhaps you can use the quote function. I was typing on the phone so I may not have type it correctly.
