I need to disable the spacebar hot key in Trello.

How can I remove a hotkey in Trello? There is an annoying problem of joining and unjoining a card when hitting the spacebar. The space bar is an often used hotkey in other commonly used programs so it gets hit a lot and sometimes my name will disappear from the Trello card by accident. I need to disable this hot key in Trello.

Right now there's not an option to disable keyboard shortcuts in Trello.

This is so unfortunate.

What will it take for Atlassian to allow for keyboard shortcuts to be disabled in Trello?
Lots of users have been complaining about this for years: https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Trello-questions/Is-it-possible-to-modify-or-disable-keyboard-shortcuts/qaq-p/589535.
