My Trello account was automatically deleted under the dormant-account policy on 31 July 2026 after I unfortunately missed the warning emails.
This was not a deletion I intentionally requested. The account contained years of personal boards and material that are irreplaceable to me.
I understand the published policy says deleted data may not be recoverable. However, because the deletion occurred only 13 days ago, I would be extremely grateful if a Trello staff member could open a private support ticket on my behalf and check whether any account/board data still exists in a retention system, delayed-purge state, backup, or other internal recovery mechanism.
I can provide the affected email address, former board URLs/names, account details, and proof of ownership privately.
If recovery is impossible, I would also appreciate confirmation after checking the actual account/deletion state rather than only the general policy documentation.
Thank you.

Only Atlassian can determine whether an account-specific recovery path remains. Continue through private support and avoid publishing account email addresses or private board URLs in the community.
I develop Board Export Lite. It cannot recover an already-deleted account, but if access is restored to any boards, it can create manual or scheduled JSON, CSV, or XLSX copies for future protection:
Hi @Ricardo Salta , welcome to the Atlassian Community!
Unfortunately, the fact that the deletion occurred 13 days ago does not create a documented recovery window. The 14-day grace period applies when someone requests deletion of their entire Atlassian account. A Trello profile removed under the dormant-account policy follows a different process, with 60 days’ notice before deletion.
In a comparable case, a Trello Support team member confirmed that once a dormant account has been deleted, Trello cannot restore the account or its content. If any boards or Workspaces had other members, they should still have access and can invite a new Trello account back. If you were the only member of a board, that board is deleted as part of the account deletion process.
Please do not post the affected email address, board URLs, or proof of ownership in this public thread.

Thanks. I understand the distinction between the 14-day Atlassian-account grace period and Trello’s dormant-account deletion policy, and I understand that the published policy does not promise recovery.
I also believe that most of my boards had no other members, so I understand that the “another member can still access the board” route probably does not apply to most of my data.
What I am still asking is whether someone from the Trello/Atlassian team can privately inspect the actual backend state of my former account, rather than infer the result only from the general policy and another user’s case.
Specifically, could someone please check whether:
I am not asking anyone to post account details publicly. I can provide the affected email address, former board names/URLs, and proof of ownership privately if a Trello staff member can open a support ticket or otherwise investigate.
The boards contained years of personal material that is irreplaceable to me, so I would like to exhaust the possibility of an actual account-specific check before giving up.
