Card-Level Permissions

Hello - I have come across several threads re: the feature for Card-Level Permissions and am wondering what workarounds are out there and/or if anyone  has workarounds they can share.

The Use Case: As a small business owner, I need clients to get real time updates as of where their jobs are in the work queue. Therefore since this board will be comprised of all customer jobs that are in-flight, it is important that customers can only view THEIR jobs.

Note: Building a board for each and every customer simply is not scalable.

I would suggest publishing the data by giving each client a unique URL for each job.

Hi @Mark 

 

You can use Hipporello for this. You can create a private form which you can create a card for your client through Hipporello form with their email address. After that, your client will be able to access to card details. You can inform them for example if card is moved from one list to another one via email. Or you can send notifications to them on Trello card via Reply functionality. All the communication will be logged on the card. 

 

Your client can reply to you either by replying to the email they received or by going web interface via the link sent by email.
