Can't sync custom field "date" field between cards...

Hi! I've been able to sync the custom field "drop-down" and "check box" between linked cards but I can't find an automation to set the linked card to the same date. Is there any way to do this?

I see ways to set it "now" and month from now, etc. but nothing for it to be exactly the same as what the user selected on primary card. 

I also thought maybe (if not possible, which seems weird) that I could just have it post that custom field data into a comment on linked cards but even that I can't seem to pull off. It posts the comment but the date field variable is blank. 

Any help would be great. This would be a VERY unfortunate break in a large automation I'm doing. 😅

Yes. That’s a limitation. You can solve this with code via the butler HTTP request.
