Why can't I choose a component when backfilling an incident?

Hello.  I've read this page regarding backfilling an incident that has happened in the past:

https://support.atlassian.com/statuspage/docs/backfill-an-incident/

I'm wondering what the point is of not being able to choose the component that was impacted during the incident.  Cheers.

it may be worth raising this as product feedback, being able to associate components with backfilled incidents seems like a reasonable use case
