When setting up a new component

I'm attempting to configure a new component for an upcoming launch, but the system is preventing me from selecting a future start date. The error message states the date must be 'today or older.'

Is there a workaround for scheduling product go-lives in advance, or does the system only support immediate activations?

G'day Matt,
I'm Scot from the Statuspage Support team.

Statuspage doesn't support creating Components that have a future start date, as we calculate availability of the component from the current date onwards.

If you're on a Hobby Plan or higher, you can reach out to us via our Contact Support  to ask about hiding components that are not degraded. You can create a component, and not show it till it's degraded, and then turn off this feature once you're live. However, the history of this component will show from the date you created it.

If that would work for you, please reach out to us via Contact Support.
