Sometimes we have a need to notify our customers of coming changes in an early phase. Many times, we dont have an exact time of when the change is taking place.
It more like a service message than a incident or maintenance.
Are there any other users that have the reported the same need for this functionality?
Or do you have any recommendations on how to achieve this with todays functionality?

Statuspage primarily offers Incidents and Scheduled Maintenance as the two communication types. Scheduled Maintenance requires a defined time window, which doesn't quite fit the "early advisory" or "service message" scenario you're describing.
Yes, other users have reported the same need for this functionality, and we do have a feature request that is being internally tracked (STATUS-877). If there are any updates on this, they will be posted here in the Atlassian Community.
In the meantime, you can -
Scheduled Maintenance with a broad time window — You can create a Scheduled Maintenance that spans a wider date range (e.g., several days or weeks) and include a note in the description stating that the exact timing is still being determined. Subscribers will be notified when it's created and when you update it with more details.
