Does Atlassian support a workflow or integration for service providers to onboard clients and receiv

I am a service provider on ServiceChannel, and I am looking for a solution or integration within Atlassian products (like Jira Service Management) that supports service providers.
Specifically, I want to know if there is a system or workflow that allows me to invite or bring clients to add me to their list, enabling me to receive and manage their incoming work orders seamlessly.
Does Atlassian offer any specific add-ons, templates, or integrations tailored for this type of service provider-to-client relationship and work order management?
Thank you for your guidance!

Hi @Hamza Marar, short version: Atlassian doesn't have anything that mirrors the ServiceChannel model, where a client adds you into a shared network and dispatches work orders to you through it. Jira Service Management is built for one organisation to receive and manage requests from its own customers, not as a directory that external clients plug a provider into. So there's no template or built in workflow for that provider to client relationship as such.

What it can realistically do for you:

  • Run your own JSM and let your clients raise work orders through your customer portal or by emailing your service project. They come in as customers (portal access is free, no agent seat), and you handle them in queues with SLAs and automation. The direction is the reverse of what you described though, the work comes into your system rather than the client adding you to theirs.
  • If the orders need to start in ServiceChannel and land in Jira, that's an API integration. I'm not aware of a dedicated ServiceChannel connector on the Marketplace, so you'd bridge it through ServiceChannel's API with an iPaaS such as Make, Zapier or Workato, or a sync app, creating a JSM ticket per incoming work order.

One aside: you posted this under Statuspage, which only handles publishing service status and incident updates, so it isn't the product for taking in work orders. JSM is the one to look at, and you can see what connects to it here: Marketplace apps for Jira Service Management
