My team needs access to this JIRA again, we do not need over 10 people on JIRA and we would like to continue using the free version if possible.

Hi @zina khan ,

It sounds like your site might have been deactivated or moved to a paid tier because the user count exceeded the 10-user limit for the Free plan. To regain access and stay on the Free version, you must reduce your active user count to 10 or fewer.

• Remove Excess Users

Go to admin.atlassian.com → Select your Org → Directory → Users. Check users with Jira access. If there are more than 10, click on the user and select Show details → Remove product access or Deactivate user.

• Change Plan Back to Free

Navigate to Billing → Manage Subscriptions. Find Jira, click Change plan, and select Free.

Note: You cannot switch back if you still have more than 10 active users.
