When documents in Sharepoint are indexed by the connector with Rovo, where is the data stored?
Is it actually storing a copy of the documents on a server, or just pulling the documents up via the connector in Sharepoint?
Which permissions does the connector in Sharepoint? Would it require Admin or just read only?

Hi @bcselewski 👋🏻
First of all, welcome to community! ✨
To answer your questions:
Rovo builds a secure, internal index (often referred to as the Teamwork Graph) to power AI-driven search and reasoning. It pulls content and structure metadata so users can easily find documents.
When Atlassian Rovo indexes your SharePoint documents, it builds a search index that basically replicates the data into the Atlassian ecosystem. The original documents remain securely stored in your Microsoft SharePoint environment.
Rovo is read-only when it comes to indexing content and will strictly respect your existing SharePoint permissions.

I hope this answers your questions. Please feel free to let me know for any other queries. 🙂

Thank you Anwesha. I haven't been able to find any detailed documentation on the Atlassian site.
