Go deeper with Get the most out of Rovo learning path

Hi Community! 👋

Welcome to Week 3 of Go AI-Native with Rovo! You've explored search, chat, and gotten hands-on with agents – now it's time to put it all together.

⭐️ This week’s challenge

Complete the full Get the most out of Rovo learning path. It covers everything from search to working with Rovo agents and optimizing AI results in complex workflows. You've already knocked out the first course (that was Week 1!), so you're not starting from scratch – just pick up where you left off and finish the rest.

Complete the full path + comment what you learned and you'll unlock:

  • 🏆 Rovo AI-Native mega badge

  • 💰 400 Kudos points

This is the big one! Once you've completed Weeks 1–3, you've earned the mega badge.

What you'll walk away with

  • How Rovo Search pulls knowledge from across Atlassian and connected third-party tools

  • Using Rovo Chat to get contextual answers without switching tabs

  • Building and customizing agents for your team's specific workflows

  • Leveraging AI features embedded across Jira, Confluence, and more

💡Insider Rovo Tip:
Next time you're stuck on a problem, ask Rovo "who on my team has worked on X?" Instead of keyword-matching names in pages, Rovo traverses our Teamwork Graph to surface the actual expert based on contribution patterns. It's the fastest way to find the right person without pinging your whole team.

🗣️ Share your progress

Once you've finished, tell us in the comments: Based on the learning course, what’s one workflow or use case that you’ll now have Rovo tackle that it wasn’t helping with before?

And if you're ready for more, Week 4 drops next week with a bonus challenge: earn your Rovo Fundamentals certification. Stay tuned. 🚀

I cannot emphasise enough how valuable the Best practices for using Rovo course is!

Too often, I hear people say, “I don’t use AI because it always gives me unrelated or irrelevant answers.”

In many cases, the issue isn’t necessarily the AI itself, but how we frame the request, provide context, and refine the conversation. This course does a great job of demonstrating how a few simple best practices can significantly improve the quality of the answers we receive.

Sometimes, I feel like people expect AI to read their minds 😆

I plan to build 2 agents, but the first Jira Helper that will answer questions to users on how to use the jira features, how to use Rovo search, and add them to the onboarding for new users.

the second is the Story checker agent, that will verify if the story has all the information from the template to follow to the next stage of planning, like sprint planning. This agent will run in the workflow.

I agree with @Tomislav Tobijas about the most valuable course being Best Practices for using Rovo, but have to say I really enjoyed thinking through the need for a custom agent, too! I enjoyed this entire course for getting ideas of "low risk" tasks to try out!

I started down the AI learning path quite a while ago—and our company has been helping customers navigate the world of Artificial Intelligence for even longer.

One of our most helpful colleagues these days coming out of this is the much-talked-about Project Manager Agent. It guides new hires and seasoned veterans alike through the company, answers questions, and helps everyone get up to speed a whole lot faster.

And no, it’s not our only AI agent. But it’s probably the one most frequently called upon to handle the legendary: “Hey, can you just quickly...?”

The best part? While humans can focus on consulting, creativity, and real collaboration, our agent takes care of the things that would otherwise require five chat messages, three phone calls, and two conversations by the coffee machine.

AI agents don’t replace great colleagues—they make the best parts of a great team available faster, 24/7, and without needing a coffee break.

One thing that really stood out to me was that the quality of Rovo's answers depends just as much on the quality of your knowledge as on the prompts themselves 🧡

We've built a few internal agents and the biggest lesson has been that well-structured, up-to-date Confluence content makes a huge difference! The better your knowledge base is, the more useful your agents become 😊

The course also gave me a few new ideas for improving our existing agents. Especially around providing better instructions and narrowing their scope so they produce more consistent results. Great learning path! 👏

Similar to Week 1, I had already completed this Learning Path prior to Go-Native with Rovo. Is it still possible to earn the Mega Badge?

The use case that I now have Rovo tackle for me that it wasn't doing before is having it search Confluence for me while in Jira and visa versa. Before Rovo, it was a constant back and forth or ensuring I had both tabs necessary up to cycle back and forth as needed. Now, I simply ask Rovo for the information I'm looking for and it saves me time and effort!

@Ross LeMere Yes, absolutely! I can confirm you've been awarded the Rovo AI-Native mega badge. Congrats on completing all three weeks🎉 And love that use case - using Rovo to bridge Jira and Confluence without the tab switching is such a great time saver. Thanks for sharing 🙌🏻
