Hi,
considering migrating Opsgenie to JSM and have a few questions about that:
1. Will all historical alerts currently present in Opsgenie be migrated to JSM, or is only a specific time period migrated?
2. After the migration, what happens to alerts that are older than the JSM retention policy? Will they remain available in JSM, or will they be removed?
2. I noticed there is an option to set up a migration demo account in Opsgenie to test JSM features. Can access to this demo account be granted to all Opsgenie users, or is it limited to specific roles (fx. Owners or Admins)?
Thanks a lot for your help.
The answer is yes, but depends on your JSM plan.

1. Access to Historical Alerts:
After migrating from Opsgenie to JSM, you will still be able to view your historical alerts within JSM. All existing alerts are automatically migrated and accessible under the Operations > Alerts section. However, please note that JSM enforces data retention policies based on your subscription plan (ranging from 1 month to 5 years). If you require access to alerts beyond your plan’s retention period, we recommend exporting any critical data before migration.
For #3, the demo account access is not extended by default to all users. But after the site is created, you (opsadmin/site admin) can decide which users needs to be granted the access.
