Overriding Ringtone Volume stopped working on Android 17

After Upgrading my Phone (Pixel 8a) to Android 17, Opsgenie does not set the ringtone volume anymore.

I checked all permissions for notifications, DND/Modes and alike. Still no sounds whatsoever.

How can this be reanabled? It's a critical feature that stopped working out of nowhere.

This will be an interesting one. According to Google

Background audio hardening

Starting in Android 17, the audio framework enforces restrictions on background audio interactions including audio playback, audio focus requests, and volume change APIs to ensure that these changes are started intentionally by the user.

Please write an Ticket under support.atlassian.com

Issues like this should go straight to Atlassian Support, because it sounds like a regression inside the app.
