Our Opsgenie to JSM/ Jira integration leverages the connector and it's currently leveraging my email address for the user name per the doc:

However, I noticed that when it's triggered, it throws my name in the comments the ticket.
Is there another user name that I can use so that the integration isn't dependent on my ID? Or if my role changes, I don't cause an outage?
Hi @[deleted] - it sounds like you're integrating with Jira/JSM, and wondering if you can use another user for the authentication from Opsgenie to Jira/JS?
All actions that Opsgenie takes in Jira/JSM will use the credentials you provide in the Jira/JSM integration. It doesn't have to be a site-admin, it just needs to be any user who has permission to create, update, add comments, etc. to issues in Jira.
You can create a separate "Opsgenie" user if you'd like, and ensure they have the proper permissions, then change the integration to use that "Opsgenie" user's credentials.
