I am experiencing issues with Opsgenie push notifications on my Google Pixel (Android 16, Opsgenie app v3.9.2).
Alerts show up in the log as “MobileStatus: sent”, but often they are not delivered to the device (no “received” status). This causes delays, and sometimes I only notice after escalation.
Key details:
The problem happens only at night (overnight) and intermittently.
During the day, notifications work normally.
I have already disabled battery optimizations, enabled urgent notifications, and allowed Opsgenie to override Do Not Disturb.
I also tested repeat rules, but the issue persists occasionally.
I found reports indicating a known bug with Google Pixel devices on Android 16, which may be related.
I would like to confirm:
If this is a known bug affecting Pixel/Android 16.
If there is any workaround or Opsgenie patch to ensure notifications are reliably delivered overnight.
I am having the same issue. Did you ever get this fixed? It worked fine prior to upgrading to Android 16 on my Samsung S23.
I didn’t find an official fix, but I managed to work around it.
The only reliable solution so far was to use two smartphones, one of them running an older Android version (12)

We did received word on a few support cases that this can be resolved by re-installing the app.

@Chris DeGidio I did uninstall, reboot phone and reinstall and then set all permissions again. Same issue occurring. If we turn off DND, the notifications work. OpsGenie isn't able to bypass the DND restrictions like it used to be able to do. I have a support ticket in now.
@luiz.kasputis Wow! Carrying another smart phone won't go over really well here. I ended up enable SMS notifications and setting the contact to an annoying ring tone, adding the contact to my favorites to bypass the DND if needed.

Chris here from the Opsgenie support team. We have not received any further reports of this and I see nothing flagged as a bug publicly on jira.atlassian.com
Feel free to submit a ticket to our support team at support.atlassian.com for further investigation into your account specifically.
Thanks

Hi Chris, I found this post and both users talk about the Pixel and the new version of Android
