Dear Atlassian Support Team,
I am writing to seek clarification regarding the migration options for Opsgenie before the End of Support date on April 5, 2027.
I have reviewed the documentation on the official migration portal and support pages. I understand that the automated migration tool is designed for cloud destinations (Jira Service Management Cloud or Compass). However, my organization is currently using Jira Service Management Data Center and we would prefer to keep our instance on-premise.
Could you please confirm the following:
Is there any supported or planned path to migrate Opsgenie data and configurations directly to Jira Service Management Data Center before the April 5, 2027 deadline?
If a direct migration to Data Center is not possible, could you provide details on our available alternatives? Is the only option to migrate our entire Jira Service Management Data Center instance to the Cloud first, and then migrate Opsgenie?
We are in the process of planning our migration strategy and would appreciate any detailed guidance, including potential third-party solutions or workarounds if they are officially supported.
Thank you for your assistance.
Hi @Alexandr , not to replace an official response from any team here, but i dont think you can expect that. OPSgenie already maps/migrates to the JSM in Cloud and with DC being retired, i dont think atlassian will put a plan to support a migration to DC.

Thanks for your honest and clear response. It confirms my understanding.
