I recently imported a document I downloaded from jira cloud to a new instance of jira cloud.

All of my tickets are showing up on my timeline, but they aren't showing up on my board.

Any idea why this might be happening?

The boards are the same names as the old one.

If I go and change the  board it is supposed to be on it still doesn't show up.

Hi @Tim Cooley and welcome to the community!

Since the timeline in a free plan is linked to your board, I would suggest taking a look at your board settings to make sure all statuses are mapped to a board column. If that is not the case, issues in unmapped statuses do not display on the board.

Also, if your board is a scrum board and there is no active sprint, your issues would be in the backlog and not on the actual board.

If none of the above are the reason, please share more details of your configuration so we can better help you. What timeline / board are you referring to? In what type of project are they (Jira Software, Jira Work Management, Jira Service Management / team or company managed)? How are your board an timeline configured?

Hope this helps!

There seems to be an issue with how they were created. Every Ticket was created as an Epic.  I think this is why it doesn't filter correctly.

Hello @Tim Cooley

Issues exist in Projects, not in Boards. Boards are just a way to view and manipulate issues that exist in Projects.

Boards use Filters to select which issues will be displayed. OR is this a Kanban board or a Scrum board?

If it is a scrum board issues will display on the board itself only if they have been assigned to a sprint that has been started.

I would suggest to check the filter permissions if it is allowing you to view the issues.

Kindly Accept and Vote my answer if it helps.

Thanks
