I created a new Khanban board and project for a Gantt chart.

In the past when I was creating a new issue I had the ability to select/change the issue type on the fly (epic, task,etc...) including my company added issue types "Project, Epic List...).

Now the system is locked to "Epic List".

Why?

Hi @Admin Adrian

This list is normally dictated by the Work Types available for that Space (Project), which means someone must've updated the Work Type Scheme for your Project to only include Epic List.

Can you tie back to that? If not, could you provide screenshots with anything sensitive blurred out?

Thanks,

Sam

Hi @Admin Adrian and welcome to Community!

Do you know if you created a Team managed or Company managed project?

As @Sam Okell mentioned, the new project probably has a limited list of available work item types. Check out this documentation to see how to modify them: https://support.atlassian.com/jira-cloud-administration/docs/add-edit-and-delete-an-issue-type/
