You'll need to explain what you want from a "variation report", it's far too vague a term, even if you have a context like "project management"

I need to generate a report which shows the difference between Planned estimate and Acutal effort spent by a resource on a particular task\story so that the cumulative effort will be used by me to plan for the remaining effort and or vice versa
