this happens when i try to enter new data in the time tracking feature for some of my tasks

Are you on cloud or server? Did you check, that your connection does not have any problems?
I dont know what being on cloud server means but my connection does not have any problems

Does your jira have an url like yyy.atlassian.net , then you are in the Atlassian cloud. If not, it is probably an self hosted server instance .

Ok, if the problem still exists, you should reach out to the Atlassian support then, they can investigate this further.
