upgrading jira from 4.3.3 to 6.3

I want to upgrade my company's Jira from thje current version 4.3.3 to the latest, using the Upgrading JIRA with a Fallback Method page. That page however, describes how to upgrade from 4.4 to the latest version. I want to know if a seperate 4.3.x version exists. Maybe the procedure is the same and can I use the description as it is for this task?

upgrading jira is essentially installing the new version, exporting and importing the data. The page can be used without problem.
