upgrade 3.7 to 4.2

in one of our server we still have jira3.7.2 and we want immediately ugrade to 4.2.1 version,my question is CAN I ugrade from 3.7.2 to 4.2 DIRECTLY? or i should Upgrade to lower version (for example 3.13 ) then upgrade to 4.2? ..... by the way i found all new version of plugin that we used in 3.7.2.

You could try it in a test system, but it's a very large jump and I wouldn't recommend it myself - I've not managed a clean upgrade from anything below 3.10 to 4.2. I'd do what you suggest - 3.7 -> 3.13 and then 3.13 -> 4.2
