Hello Community,
Unfortunately, in the Jira options, menu item: custom fields, I can't see any of the default system fields set by Jira ( e.g. status or description). I only see there a selection of custom fields (from Jira or my own custom fields) and the fields coming from my add-on's.
What am I doing wrong there? Could this be due to the license or my authorization?
Currently I'm site-admin and we currently have the free trial access through Jira Cloud.
Thanks for the help.
Greetings Arne
Hi Arne,
You are doing nothing wrong, that is how Jira Cloud/Data Center work. Jira's system fields do not have any options that can be modified at the global level and do not appear on the list you indicated, but may have some options on a project's Field Configuration scheme. Cheers!
Thanks for your quick response.
However, it would be nice to be able to see the default system fields listed somewhere with a description, so as not to create custom fields twice, which then have the same content as a default system field.
Cheers

Hello @Arne Becher
Welcome to the community.
I believe this document provides a list of the System fields, or at least the ones that can be included in filters.
