spinning wheel in confluence next to jira issue

We recently upgraded to Confluence 6.8.0 and noticed a spinning wheel next to some jira issues.  Didn't notice this behavior before.  Looks like the issue is rendering, but it's odd.  Any ideas?

Confluence 6.8.0

JIRA 7.8.2

Checked application links and all looks good.

THANKS!ScreenShot348.jpg

Hi Mary,

It could be if you are using a custom field as one of your display columns:

Can you see if that's the case? If not, do you see anything in your Confluence server logs that might give us a hint as to what's going on here?

Regards,

Shannon

Hi Shannon,

That is not the case in our instance.  And unfortunately there is nothing in our logs to lead us to an issue.  I was working with Atlassian support on Friday and we just edited the page, and removed the JIRA link and re-added.  That got rid of the spinner.  We now only have a link on the Confluence page, but at least we got rid of the spinner.

THANKS for your response!

Thank you for confirming, Mary!

For any remaining problems with that page, I would recommend continuing to work with Support. This way you can send them log files and copies of the problematic pages.

Take care, and have a pleasant week.

Regards,

Shannon
