s it possible to change the Priority field? Mine seems stuck

Hi everyone,

I’m running into something odd. The Priority field in my project is showing up, but it looks like it’s frozen. It is stuck on “Medium,” and I can’t click the dropdown or make any changes.

I’m not sure if this is something I’m doing wrong, if it’s a permissions issue, or if Priority is just not meant to be editable in certain setups. Has anyone else run into this? Is there a setting or configuration I should check, or is this something only admins can change?

Such behavior is possible if the project has a Priority Scheme assigned that includes only one priority option.

Check project settings, Priority Scheme. If it's the reason - just modify this scheme, add required Priorities.

Checking of project settings requires Project Administrator permissions.
Changing of Priority Scheme requires Jira Administrator permissions.
