rest/api/3/issue error 405

jim toby February 14, 2019

When I search this in my url: https://name.atlassian.net/rest/api/3/issue I get error 405. Why am I getting this if this is the url i need to be doing a POST request to when creating an issue. Is it because when I actually make a request, I'll specifying a username and password for authentication? Or maybe I'd need an access token?

For the record: https://name.atlassian.net is the website I use to access the Atlassian product.

Thanks!

Hi @jim toby,

The URL requires an issue key or id.

GET /rest/api/3/issue/{issueIdOrKey}

Get issue
