For some reasons few of my JIRA usernames were setup as lastname.firstname instead of lastname.firstname@company.com. So I went ahead and fixed them as a JIRA administrator, however when I export any data from JIRA I still see their names as lastname.firstname. But for login it still accepts only the updated username. Why is that so? Am I missing any other step here? Can someone please assist me in this. Thanks.
