"Jira Cloud for Microsoft Teams" can an External make use of the APP?

Typically all our uses work at our company and are on the Microsoft account.  However in Jira we're permitted some external people access.

The question I've got , the externals have there own MS tenant , is there a way to permit them to have "Jira Cloud for Microsoft Teams" notifications via their own system.

Hello @Spencer Hudson

This won’t work the way you’re describing if those users stay only in their own Microsoft tenant.

The Jira Cloud for Microsoft Teams app is configured per user inside Teams, and they need to sign in to your Jira site there to receive notifications.

In practice, this means external users would need to be added to your Teams tenant as guests to use the app in that context.

If they remain only in their own tenant (external access), they won’t be able to use the Jira app for notifications.
