I'm using the Atlassian widget "Assigned to me" gadget in the Jira Dashboard. I have a ticket that has a resolution status of "In Process" which is not showing in the dashboard. To me that is unresolved as its not "fixed" status. Is there a way to fix this problem?
Any value in the resolution field is treated by Jira as the ticket having been resolved. Jira understands the empty field as representing work is not yet complete. The simple solution is to reset all the resolutions with "In Process" to empty and then remove that resolution option.
Along the way removing it from any post functions where you have set this value automatically in a workflow.
Once you have removed that option and reset the values to empty the Assigned to Me gadget will then work as you expect.

If the Resolution field has been set then the filter for the Gadget will exclude it. I would suggest using a filter Gadget and using JQL to build a custom filter that would be tailored to your needs instead.
