I'm creating an automation in Jira so that when a request goes from "in progress" to "completed" it sends an email to the request reporter, I'm creating this in a specific Jira project and I don't know how to do Jira. I detected the informant and sent him the email that I have configured to send him, the informant may vary

To can create automation you can use the following steps:

1. Create a new automation rule:
   Navigate to your Jira project and select "Project settings" > "Automation" > "Create rule"
   Choose the trigger as "Issue transition" and select the transition from "in progress" to "completed."
2. Add a condition:
   If needed, you can add a condition to further specify the rule, such as the issue type or any other relevant criteria.
3. Add an action to send an email:
   In the actions section, select "Send email" and configure the email to be sent to the request reporter.
   Use the smart value {{issue.reporter.emailAddress}} to dynamically include the email address of the request reporter in the "To" field of the email.
4. Configure the email content:
   Customize the email subject and body as per your requirements. You can use smart values to include issue-specific information in the email content, such as {{issue.key}} and {{issue.summary}}.
5. Save and activate the rule:
   Once you have configured the rule, save it and ensure that it is activated to start sending emails to the request reporter when the specified transition occurs.
