performance issues in KVM

Hi,

We have a small installation of Jira Server and Jira Servicedesk on KVM and the performance is killing. When you go to projects, we have to wait for about a minute to be loaded. 

The VM has 8 GB memory and 12 cores. Should be fairly enough. The database we use is H2.

What can we do to make jira workable again?

How much heap have you given Jira? 

Are you running two of them (One Jira and one Jira ServiceDesk, or have you installed Jira and added Service Desk as an application)

How many projects do you have?

When are you planning to move to a supported database?
